By Air

Flights from the UK arrive in Kirkwall. All flights are run by LoganAir for British Airways. It is possible to fly from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen. The price of the flight is way out of proportion to the distance but being flexible on your flight departure time and booking well in advance can minimize the costs somewhat.
